STEEL CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATOR (Location: Valkenburg aan de Geul)
 
Activities: The estimator is responsible for detailing, budgeting and costing construction and or structural steel projects. He/she determines cost prices and generates final proposals after consultation with senior management. He/she tracks quotations and issues order confirmations.
 
Education:
 

• MBO [Senior Secondary Vocational Education]

 
Job Requirements:
 

• At least MBO-level Mechanical Engineering [Senior Secondary Vocational Education] with several years of
• relevant experience in the steel construction sector, preferably supplemented with training as an estimator.
• knowledge of relevant IT systems such as Windows,  MS Word, MS Excel, aged 30 to 45

 
Required Skills:
 

• good verbal and written communication skills
• no-nonsense attitude
• no 9-to-5 attitude
