At the end of 2012, BAM Civiel Zuidoost awarded Frijns Steel Construction BV the assignment for the construction of the metal structure for DSM Geleen’s project “Next Generation Sulfa”. It concerns a new ammonium sulphate factory which is to be built on the Chemelot site in Geleen.


The activities contain the manufacturing, preservation and assembly of approximately 1500 tons of steel, including stairs, guard rails and landings, including grate floors. In addition, the supplies will also consist of approximately 150 tons of stainless steel bar material, landings and guard rails of Stainless Steel 316L quality.
